Captivating Imagery
The creation of captivating imagery is a key component in effective marketing campaigns. The purpose of this imagery is in conveying or communicating specific messages to an intended audience. Sometimes this message is to buy something. Other times the message is meant to help shape opinions or educate people.
Today, telecommunication integration is at an all-time high. There exists an almost tangible cloud of marketing messages permeating human culture and society. In order to leave a lasting impression, marketing material must exude immense creativity. It must evoke certain thoughts and feelings from its audience.
In the case of print marketing such as magazine ads, mailers and billboards, visual stimulation is the only human impulse able to be manipulated. Print ads have a vanishingly finite window of opportunity from which to garnish an impression. Take for instance, a motorist speeding past an interstate billboard or stopped at a red light, glancing at a business’ facade. Envision someone opening their mail in the evening before dinner or flipping through the newest issue of their favorite magazine. Or perhaps, a business owner perusing the daily paper in the morning with a cup of joe. These acts of casual observation are fleeting at best. Is your organization’s marketing material leaving an impression? Is your imagery captivating?
